The company’s headquarters in Alt-Nagelberg stands on the historic site of the Stölzle family glassworks, active since 1725 and managed by the same family from 1847 until 2006, renowned worldwide for its glass production. The Kugler family has always been connected to the glassmaking tradition: the family’s forebear, Kugler, was a skilled hollow glass grinder. Ernest Kugler conducted significant historical research on the ancient glassworks of the Gföhlerwald.
